Utah Team Member Hall of Fame was founded in 2018 by State Farm Agent, Tad Teeples. He and the TMHOF committee hold an annual gala event to celebrate the state's team members who produce at least 30 life applications each year.
The average Utah agency produces 25 life applications per year but agencies participating in this program average 95 life applications per year and are more likely to qualify for Honor Club, Ambassador Travel and other programs.
Though the big event is the annual gala celebration, we also have multiple, exclusive networking and fellowship opportunities throughout the year, as well as personal follow up and encouragement from committee members to encourage team members to achieve their goals.

The team member hall of fame was something I was signed up for that I didn’t know anything about. BUT, I have found it to be a great motivator, seeing what numbers every person involved is putting on the boards and making that a goal for myself to be at the top of the leader board. It also opens the window to reaching out to other team members who are doing well with sales, and from my experience we all are working towards the same goal and we love the opportunity to work together and help others succeed.
The gala was a great way to feel like my efforts were rewarded beyond just commission, it was a chance to dress up and be recognized and I know that made me feel that little extra bit of accomplishment.
In a simple summary, it is a great opportunity to put yourself out there, and to motivate yourself to go the extra mile, get more excited about the opportunity to sell life insurance, and to provide a community of people in the same position as yourself that want to help you and want to see you have success.
This program has motivated me to see what I am up against with other agencies. I love the friendly competition. A great way to hold your team members accountable.
I have loved the TMHOF!! I am extremely proud of my accomplishment and have my award displayed for clients to see. It subconsciously adds to my legitimacy with clients. But more important than that, it has given me guidance. It has put into perspective my accomplishment, and raised my vision seeing what my peers can do. It has been extremely motivating for me this year. For example, my goal is to be in the top 5 TMHOF producers at the next gala. I don’t know where I would be without it!
This is my first year participating in the Team Member Hall of Fame program and I am now two months in and have definitely seen benefits already. It gives me a lot of pride to part of a program full of the greatest team members in the state and also a lot of reassurance knowing I have such an amazing group to reach out to with any questions and/or training needed to become the best of the best. Being able to see my name and production amongst my peers and fellow team members has definitely been a huge motivator for me, not just out of a competition stand point, but it gives me hope seeing others in the same field performing well because if they can do it so can I. I am excited to attend the Gala dinner next year and am looking forward to the relationships to be made via this program the further along I get.
